Uecomm's Network Services are provided on the basis that the customer abides by Uecomm's Acceptable Use Policy as described in this document.
Uecomm reserves the right to suspend network services without notice to any customer that does not abide by this Acceptable Use Policy.
Uecomm reserves the right to change this Acceptable Use Policy at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Any decision made by Uecomm in relation to the application of this policy to the provided service(s) shall be final on all matters.
The basis of the Acceptable Use policy is that the customer must not use Uecomm's network for any kind of Network Abuse.
Network Abuse may consist of but is not limited to spamming, sending harassing or threatening email, hack attempts through any means, any behaviour that is malicious, reckless or vexatious or is disruptive to other Uecomm network users. This also includes any actions in violation of Australian Law, including the unauthorised distribution of copyrighted material. Disruptive behaviour includes, but is not limited to sending bulk emails of unsolicited advertising, propagation of computer worms or viruses, using the network to make or attempt unauthorized entry to any other machine accessible via Uecomm, and forgery or attempted forgery of email messages and Usenet news postings.
Internet access is only guaranteed for IP addresses that are detailed in the service schedule, or otherwise agreed in writing between Uecomm and the customer.
The customer must not use an IP address not directly assigned to them (spoofing) in an attempt to gain access to a Network, and must not disguise the origins of access.
The Customer is required to accept and read email addressed from abuse@uecomm.com.au, and must respond promptly to the email if a reply is requested. Mail sent from abuse@uecomm.com.au or any other Uecomm administrator must not be "bounced" or ignored.
To report a violation of Uecomm's Acceptable use policy, please send details to abuse@uecomm.com.au.
