Uecomm CEO Dean Tognella, said White bought extensive experience to the role.
"Garry has worked in the telecommunications industry for 20 years - seven of those at Uecomm. He has a strong understanding of both the market and our customers’ needs and is in an ideal position to ensure that Uecomm’s next generation network meets existing and future customer requirements."
In his seven years at Uecomm, White has experienced significant changes in the business.
"Uecomm has been through a lot of change during my time here, and over the past couple of years I’ve seen the business kick a lot of goals, with the support of our parent company - Optus. With an independent brand, significant fibre optic cable assets and no legacy networks, we’re in a strong competitive position in the market. I’m really excited about where the business is headed, and developing the next generation networks that our customers need today and in future," White said.
Previously, White spent five years at BT Australasia, where he introduced the company’s Global Network Services to the Australian market. Prior to his tenure at Uecomm, White spent two years with Optus as National Associations Manager, and then as National Business Direct Manager.
White started at Uecomm as Sales Manager in 1999, and was more recently State Manager of Victoria and South Australia.
