Uecomm Limited Appoints Sales Director
Uecomm Limited Chief Executive Officer, Peter McGrath today announced that the Company has appointed Mr Neil Verrall as Director - Sales.
Mr McGrath said that the appointment, which follows a national search,
would greatly assist the Company as it expands its main markets in the Corporate, Government and Wholesale areas.
"We are delighted to have secured the services of Mr Neil Verrall, who brings with him over 20 years Telecommunications experience. He has held senior positions at Telstra for more than 18 years, and has a track record of leading, motivating and empowering sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver new business. We expect he will make a significant contribution at Uecomm." said Mr McGrath.
Mr Verrall joins Uecomm from Powertel Ltd, where he was Director - Sales and Marketing. Prior to that he worked as National General Manager at Telstra where he was responsible for Retail and Wholesale Trade and Major Account Sales.
"His experience in developing sales teams which can build co-selling, channel and marketing alliances with IT&T Partners to enhance a Company's capabilities and mutually grow revenue will be invaluable at Uecomm as we develop our partner alliances", said Mr McGrath.
Mr Verrall has a Bachelor of Arts, from the University of Adelaide and a Post Graduate Degree in Management & Policy Administration from Flinders University of South Australia.
He previously held a position as Director on the Telephone Information Services Standards Council (TISSC).
Other recent senior appointments to the Uecomm sales team include:
Mr Scott Mason who joined Uecomm on 14 February 2002, as National Wholesale Manager. He comes to Uecomm with over 12 years telecommunications experience having worked at XYZ/Optus as General Manager Sales and Marketing. Prior to that he was General Manager of Marketing - Wholesale, Carrier and Internet Services at Optus. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW and a Master of Management from the University of Technology in Sydney.
Mr Matthew Madden who joined Uecomm on the 22nd of January 2002 as NSW State Sales Manager. He comes to Uecomm with telecommunications experience gained whilst working as Enterprise Channel Manager for AAPT/Connect. Prior to that he was the State Manager Corporate Accounts NSW at AAPT/Connect. He has a Bachelor of Business from Macquarie University.
